Feeling the Heat of Summer? Winter will be here before you know it!
Yes, we know it is the heat of the summer, but winter will be here before you know it, and we will once again be up to our eyes in snow. This past winter in California was unbelievably snowy, so let’s put on our winter coats and think SNOW!
In my workshop Winter Wonderland, you learn how to paint a snowy background, use Puff Paint to create snowy trees, learn about Lutradur and how to create reflections and many other things as you create one major piece that is the Merced River (in Yosemite Park),
....but there are bonus projects as well!
How much fun is it to make a wallhanging of a snowy Christmas tree with the Aurora Borealis in the background?
Or put a snowman, complete with top hat and scarf out on the rocks in the woods?
Add to that a snow angel wallhanging with a misty sheer border/binding! All of these things and more will intrigue and delight you as you follow all the steps of this class.
Hope to see you there!
About Winter Wonderland Workshop: Learn how to make falling snow and just about anything that is covered with snow, including pine trees, rocks, bare trees, snowmen and snow angels. In the first three lessons, you will create a 17" x 22" scene based on a photo taken at Yosemite, then choose from three small bonus projects in Lesson Four. Linda will walk you through the project step by step, teaching you how to make paint and glitter give the appearance of snow. Read more...
