Part 7 and I have four more on-demand classes  to show you. A real mix of workshops today from computer work and painting to displaying your quilts and knowing which tools to use when creating your masterpiece. As you can see, our workshops go way beyond the standard patchwork quilt (although we do have these too!), we also include a number of design classes which include creative ways to get you motivated into your own style of work. As I always say... "Creativity is within us all, our workshops just help you express it".

Today's presentation shows four more on-demand classes as follows:

1: Tools of the Trade by Chris Pascuzzi

Chris Pascuzzi's online workshop "Tools of the trade"

Do you know how to use your sewing machine for anything other than straight stitching? Can you use all of the presser feet that are available for your machine? Do you know which needle to use with which thread? This class will answer your questions and help you learn to use your machine to its fullest, from the latest top of the line model to Grandma's hand-me-down! You will create samples of many popular techniques using both standard and optional sewing machine attachments. Chris will give you lots of ideas for interesting ways to incorporate what you have learned into your current work. This is not a project class. All skill levels.

Joanne Winn's online workshop "basic computers"2: Basic Computers by Joanne Winn

Joanne has been teaching hands-on computer classes for several years. With the addition of computerized sewing machines and embroidery modules, you have had to learn how to use a computer if you want to use these machines. Step by Step information with screen shots are provided for Windows 7 and Windows 8.

An Index is provided so you can look up a specific topic. Even if you think you will never digitize you will still have to learn how to use the computer if you own or wish to own an embroidery machine. This usually involves learning how to use a new machine as well as how to use the computer. This is quite a daunting task for some students and the reason Joanne wrote this class.

Anyone who is trying to learn how to use a computer will benefit from this class as well. There are some areas along with two whole sections that are about information for home embroidery machine users, but the rest pertains to computers in general.
