How come that I have a huge stash but still cannot find that perfect fabric? I have this happen to me so many times so I'm sure it has to happen to you too. Well, maybe I need to turn to my own skills and learn how to paint that perfect fabric when I need it....

or perhaps I just don't want to applique my next quilt and prefer to paint and stitch!

I thought that would be a great thing to do so went out to buy some Jacquard paints. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't use them and when I finally did, they were rather thick so Marjorie McWilliams showed me exactly what to do...

Marjorie teaches a course at academyofquilting.com on all the techniques you need to know about using these paints so you might be interested to learn more: Fabric Painting online workshop
