If you need a new way to use those 2 1/2" strips you have been collecting, you want to give this pattern a try "Flower Boxes". There are multiple layout and border options to make any size quilt you need and this technique is definitely a new one. About this pattern: The pattern "Flower Boxes" includes an easy quilt-as-you-go method using applique to quilt the blocks and either a decorative stitch or bias tape to join them. (Instructions include two methods of making bias tape)
