Six years ago last September I wrote a blog post on blogspot. I was amazed to find it still there even through I cannot get into the account and have not posted on there for many years. I did manage to copy the post and repost it here on my current blog site. This is the story of how Light Upon the Earth was created.

I think as we get older, the days tend to go by faster. I am not sure why this is but I figured that I should at least be a little more prepared so certain dates don't sneak up on me. Reason why I have just made my Easter Sweets table runner available as a download.
With postage on the rise, we are introducing more and more downloads to get our patterns out to quilters, yet we will likely always carry our main patterns in hardcopy format. We have put out several downloads already this year, the first was Fiesta (a bargello pattern) and my flower blocks and BOW program are also both downloads. Jennifer Houlden has also produced a download for us too called "Right Angles". This is a baby quilt made of squares and rectangles only, so very quick to put together and ideal for a gift.
As I was taking a closer look at quilt pattern "Blooming Trellis" today, I realized that not everyone would like to make the background pieced trellis. The pattern is detailed with step by step instruction for the creation, but it does take a little time so I wanted to come up with another solution to create the same sort of effect.
Over the past two days I have been reflecting back on 2012 - patterns released, new downloads, online quilt classes and the introduction of charm packs. Today I want to look into our Crystal Ball and take a peak at what is instore for 2013, but first of all I would like to say a great big
Yesterday I mentioned all the new patterns Arbee Designs presented over 2012. Continuing on from that I felt I should mention, we had more than just hardcopy patterns released throughout 2012.
