Last Tuesday I started making the blocks in the ABC's baby quilt pattern. I made T for turtle and I asked my readers what letter I should make next. Stephanie suggested "h o m a s" (the remaining lettings in my grandson's name Thomas) so this week I decided to make the S block.

Today I have been looking at my quilt pattern Autumn Daisy. I first made this in 2003 and it was later published by Arbee Designs in 2005. It has been a very popular pattern to sew and makes a delightful table setting.

Last week I told you about Fiesta Bargello and showed photos of me putting it together. This week I want to share with you how I quilted it. Often for bargello quilts, I will just quilt wavy lines along the design, but this time I wanted to do something a little different.

I think as we get older, the days tend to go by faster. I am not sure why this is but I figured that I should at least be a little more prepared so certain dates don't sneak up on me. Reason why I have just made my Easter Sweets table runner available as a download.

Bargello Swirls is a bargello design I created in 2011 using Hoffman Fabrics. I had been asked by many of my students to design and publish a circular bargello which is what prompted me.

Usually throughout the year I recreate one of my existing patterns, either in different colors or to try out a new feature. This year I'm thinking about making the square version of California Poppies which the pattern gives instructions for. I haven't decided yet, I'm still thinking on it.

Easy Patchwork Baby quilt

With postage on the rise, we are introducing more and more downloads to get our patterns out to quilters, yet we will likely always carry our main patterns in hardcopy format. We have put out several downloads already this year, the first was Fiesta (a bargello pattern) and my flower blocks and BOW program are also both downloads. Jennifer Houlden has also produced a download for us too called "Right Angles". This is a baby quilt made of squares and rectangles only, so very quick to put together and ideal for a gift.
