In between other things, I've been working on the next two animal blocks designed by Hamish. If you missed the previous story, be sure to check it out on my post: Meet Hamish.

The blocks this week are a lobster and a frog. They were both fun to make and I particularly liked using the very bright colors for the frog.

The lobster was made first. I used an assortment of red fabrics and he is made up of a total of 21 sections. He looks ready to use those pinchers!

The frog can be cut all from one fabric if you want to make it very simple. The bright spots are more attractive though don't you think? This block is really easy and came together very quickly. I love the lime green and purple...

Both patterns are available to download. Click on the images to find out more.
