Entwined Star online class

I guess it happens to all of us at times. When one has a lot on their minds, sometimes other things get missed doing or overlooked. This happened to me recently. I somehow forgot to include one of the classes starting at the Academy of Quilting this week.

Entwined Star is a beautiful starry quilt with truly a traditional patchwork look when made as a scrappy quilt, but mix it up with modern day fabrics to give a really fashionable modern day look. Mix and match your colors or use a three fabric combination (light, medium and dark).

This design has had great interest as a pattern ever since it was first released in 2011 and it is even better now as an online class with additional options, help with fabrics and guidance from Anita your teacher. Anita shows you how you can make this project without the need of purchasing a special ruler and she guides you through the process, step by step.

Her class includes an option for star sashing, options for alternative borders and multiple options for quilting. The class includes a Lap size quilt of 56" x 70" (12 blocks) and a queen size quilt of 98" x 112" (42 blocks), however with Anita's alternative borders there are also additional sizes.

I made a couple of these blocks myself and they went together with such ease, especially after reading Anita's tips. I just had to share them with you and hope you'll join Anita when her class begins 1st August.

Join Anita in the fun class while there is still space available, at the Academy of Quilting. Sign up now >>
