A lot of quilters ask "how do you take an online quilting class?". Everyone seems very interested and eager to try so I decided to make it easy for quilters and sewers to learn by writing a short class for newcomers to experience the concept of online quilt learning. Instead of just a question and answer page, I wanted a hands on experience and so the book cover with applique flowers was born. It is a wonderful creative idea for a gift with your personal touch.
This is a little bit of fun - time out you might say. As a kid and an adult I love jigsaw puzzles, but never have the time to do them any more. This is a fun alternative especially when you get to use your own art work.
When I opted into Cricket's blog challenge, who would have thought it was more of a challenge than anticipated? One of my goals this year is to increase internet exposure and website traffic so Cricket's challenge was a perfect way to start as we all know how blogging can be good for those goals.
During the Christmas/New Year period, I like to catch up on some unfinished work or make a start on a new project - time permitting of course. It is not always possible, but this past season I did achieve more than expected. I remade one of my patterns in new colors, I quilted another which had been waiting for over a year to be quilted and I finally wrote up and made a new sample for my Bargello in Summer pattern.
Due to the sudden lose of our blog, we are starting a new blog. We hope you will find it interesting and informative. Most of our blog posts will be quilt and applique related, but from time to time, we will add other ramblings. Follow along with us and add your comments. We are always happy to hear from you.
