Elizabeth's Scrap Quilting - a superb idea!
Elizabeth Barton has always been a lover of scrap quilts.... however not of tedious cutting out of specific shapes and pattern matching.... instead, she came up with a very different way of approaching the use of scraps.
Just sew them all together!!! and then cut them up... and then sew again.....
After that, you have a number of options as to how to use the fabric... here's one.

It's fun, and inexpensive cause you don't have to buy very much! And every scrap gets used.
With so many options on how to use this fabric, I'm heading over to join Elizabeth in her next scrap quilt and even if I don't manage to reduce my stash too much, I'll definitely be reducing my scrap pile. Of course, if you don't have a lot of scraps, yardage can also be used!
About The Great Scrap Quilt workshop: No tedious cutting or piecing, and an amazing result. In 38 short videos over 12 weeks, Elizabeth takes you through the whole creation of this beautiful scrap quilt. This is a fabulous way to use up all your scraps, and you really only need to purchase a "theme" color for the framing and borders to pull it all together. Read more...
