Change from 2011 into 2021
As I mentioned earlier, it's been 20 years since I started online teaching so today I decided to take a look at what I was doing 10 years ago and a leap forward into what's happening this year.
I was definitely blogging back then as one of my January posts explains what I'd been doing over the Christmas/New Year period and that was remaking some of my quilts....
From that to this - quite a transformation, don't you think?
This year is going to be more about change rather than remaking. Change comes in many forms but most certainly, it will be a change from last year and going through lockdown in this pandemic that is still going on.
Change will come with new websites - my blog, Arbee Designs, Academy of quilting, and most likely a new one (more on that later) - actually Arbee Designs website is already in progress so that will be finished off. Coming soon you will see the current homepage...
... transform into a somewhat different look... not totally but definitely refreshed.
Change will also come as new quilt patterns and although I have some in progress from last year, for now, they are going to be put aside as I want to start afresh. I already have 2 designs in the works - an art quilt and a Bargello - sorry no sneak peek yet as these are still in the designing stage where not even the fabric has been chosen, but will most definitely contain red. I think red might be my color this year!
Change will see new videos popping up in my workshops too. I have many plans to add them to existing workshops as well as new workshops. With most of the construction completed in my neighborhood, it will be much easier to work on these so I'm bound to have fun creating in this way as well... some of which I'll be sharing here so if you aren't already, be sure to subscribe to my blog updates and follow along - you'll be learning some new things for sure: Subscribe here >>
