This is so cool. I received an email from Joan, a student at the Academy of Quilting, telling me that she was travelling to Syracuse NY from Chautauqua NY and happened to stop by Chenango Falls to meet Marilyn Belford. Joan has attended several of Marilyn's classes online over the past 6 years so finally it was time to meet her.

Machine Embroidery on Patchwork

I have always had a love of Crazy Patch. I decided with this class that I would offer both the traditional home sewing machine instructions as well as the instruction and designs for a home embroidery machine. There are also instructions for a Crazy Patch border and a multi fabric binding. This class has been taught to many students and it is always a joy to see how my students interpret the class and the design. The following photos are some of my previous student's work.

Are you ready for some July fun? You know, I hate to say this, but it is less than 6 months until Christmas. My daughter told me yesterday, she has started her gift buying with two gifts for my granddaughter already. Smart move seeing as she has three birthdays to buy for in December as well! Anyway, seeing as I was thinking of Christmas, I figured we should do a Christmas project.
