Hand beading can be a delightfully relaxing activity while adding beauty, sparkle and fun to your quilts. Beading can be elegant or it can frivolous but it always enhances your already wonderful quilts.
See Highlights in Scrap Fabric
Some of the highlights of my “Bits and Pieces” landscape class will be a few videos on thread painting. Use your needle as your “paint brush” to add details, highlights and texture to your art quilts for stunning results. Here's a short video preview:
Abstract Art Extract
This week we are going to derive design techniques from the work of two different schools of abstraction:
More Grab-a-bags
These grab-a-bags are a little different to what you normally see as usually you don't know what's inside - mostly mystery items. There are four patterns inside and the bag is only $8.00 so that's $2.00 per pattern, but for our grab-a-bags you get at least one pattern you want. There are several to choose from. Select your favorite pattern and receive 3 more!
Two More Animal Blocks
In between other things, I've been working on the next two animal blocks designed by Hamish. If you missed the previous story, be sure to check it out on my post: Meet Hamish.
