November Challenge Week 4 - my work
This week Virginia sent me a photo of her challenge. She chose a water background, bird's eye view, and hibiscus. "I have always liked the 9-Patch but seldom found a pattern I was interested in. So thought this would be the challenge for me too," says Virginia. This is what she made.

November Challenge Week One
The November blog challenge has started. I posted Emma's challenge rules last week and we have the entire month to complete it (or longer if you need). Each week I'll be presenting both Emma's and my work. Join in the fun so I can add yours too!
Star Block Help
The Entwined Star Pattern evokes folded ribbons wrapping around each other to create the star. Light/dark and medium value fabrics carefully arranged are an important part of creating the illusion. One of my favorites is...
Color Connections from a Delighted Quilter
It was a wonderful refreshing sight when I saw this beautiful quilt arrive in my inbox. Joanne from Armstrong, BC, Canada had recently purchased my pattern "Color Connections" and wanted to share a photo of her finished quilt.
