2019 Creations
Honestly, I have no idea where 2019 went. It was here one minute it seems and gone the next as here we are on the last day of the year again, with each year going faster than the one before. As usual, I never design and make as many new patterns as I'd like throughout the year but today wanted to look back over those I did make for 2019.
Tutorials for you
If you're like me, this week isn't one for sewing.... a lot of other things yes including two grandchildren's birthdays and 16 people for Christmas dinner.... but it is a lot of fun still. So instead of sewing this week, I thought I'd share 10 free tutorials I have written over the years that are posted on my website. Let's take a look!
One last thought for quilted Christmas Gifts
Oh, just a week before Christmas and I need one more gift. But I had the thought of looking through some of my unfinished (UFOs) quilts and perhaps find something to finish off for a gift. Among them, I find a Celtic design that I'd made years ago. I don't know where the design came from, I don't think it is one I made up, but probably one from a book or pattern I purchased in my early quilting days.
Christmas Block-a-thon - Block 1
I know it is a bit late for thinking about making a Christmas quilt, but I figured if I started now, then I might have it done by 2020. You see, I just love Anita's Christmas quilt and the great thing about it is you can make blocks as you like then later put it all together. That's what I am planning on doing.
Something off the quilting subject but still sewing
This week I've been doing something a little different, still in the sewing world but not so much in the patchwork/quilting world. I've been making toy foxes. Why? well, there is a lovely lady in Wellington that needed some help in her toy industry so I figured, why not?
