I'm really excited about working on a new design although it is taking a little longer than inticipated with all that is going on lately! I decided though, that I should give you a sneak preview....
For this month's block I used a 5" block from EQ8 and adjusted it to make it suitable for a 12" block. I'll use four different fabrics but you could easily make it scrappy if you wanted. Let's get started!
It suddenly occured to me that my applique flowers can be made in a number of other ways, not just applique so today I wanted to show you how I created a new block from one of my existing flower blocks - actually, I chose my very first flower block in my BOW series, the pansy.
Last week I made my first Folded Ribbon Heart from Anita's new pattern. It was super easy and super fun!
Over the past week, I have been working with Anita on getting her newest pattern published. It's been a lot of fun discovering all the various ways her Folded Ribbon Heart can work in blocks and quilts or table runners so today I wanted to share some of the great points this pattern has.
