Sometimes - it has been known - that I do other handcrafts. Last year, with a little grandson on the way, I decided to do some crochet which I haven't done in many many years. I found a cute free pattern for some little sneakers that were adorable:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/converse-booties

These have non-slip fabric on the bottom. Maybe you can see that in the photo.

Of course, when my younger daughter saw them, she wanted a pair for her daughter so I had to make a second pair in pink. These are bigger because Amy is one already.
