printing on fabric projectsMy new abode is finally starting to look a little more like home! Most things have a place and I've been busy hanging up some quilts. I have more space to hang quilts in my new home than my last place so that's a bonus.

Here are four little landscape quilts that I made some time ago which I haven't had hanging in a while. It is so nice to display them again and a joy to admire them. I need to make another set for further along the wall!

Seeing as it is hard to see the detail of these quilts, I thought some closeups might be a good idea. Their names are included below too.

This technique is a favorite of mine. They are all thread painted. In fact, I have an online workshop that includes this technique as one of the projects. If you want to find out more about it, read the details below. This is really an awesome way to make reasonably quick Christmas gifts so why not give it a try.

About Printing on Fabric: Learn how to take your favourite photographs and print them onto fabric using your ink jet printer and computer. Ruth will take you through the process of preparing fabric to accept the photograph and then show you four creative ways to use your fabric photos in projects.
