Summer Dreams by Marilyn LeeWe are so pleased to welcome a new teacher at the Academy of Quilting! Marilyn Lee's love for fine art motivates her to manipulate fabric and thread to create her own masterpieces inspired by the nature around her and in life in general.

Her first class at the Academy of Quilting is "Bits & Pieces Scrap Fabric Landscape" where she turns scraps of fabric into a beautiful landscape. Learn how to cut, organize, piece, thread paint and finish a beautiful quilt based on your own photo or landscape in this 5-lesson workshop.

No worries if you don't have scraps, Marilyn will teach you how to turn fabric pieces into scraps too!

Marilyn includes many videos to help with the learning and of course, will be present in the class forum to answer any questions you have.

Class debuts April 8th and runs through to June 6th.

About Bits & Pieces Scrap Fabric Landscape: Turn all of those scrap pieces you have been saving into an amazing art quilt landscape! You will even learn a bit about basic art principles. This is such a fun way to create a stunning piece of art and all from those scraps you didn't know what to do with!
