October and November's Flower

Posted by on 12 November 2019 | 0 Comments

It just occurred to me that I missed a post for October's flower! Fortunately, I have made this flower in my BOW flower series. It was one of the early flowers, the marigold.

I have also made November's flower which is the Chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemum stands for cheerfulness and love. According to Chinese geomancy, Chrysanthemums bring happiness and laughter in any household.

I used my Chrysanthemum block in my bed quilt so that's a great reason to have this on my bed for the month of November.

At this time I've made 56 different flowers as blocks. Of course, they are not all in my quilt so next week I may use some of them for another quick gift idea to make. What's your favorite flower? I might just make it!
