Teddy Bears

Last month I decided that I should take the blocks from "I Love Teddy" quilt pattern and put them up as individual blocks. This was a great idea because now if someone just wants one for a pocket on a tote or a couple for pillow cases, they don't need to purchase the whole pattern.

Earlier this month I put out the first two teddy bears. Policeman Teddy and Nurse Teddy.

Today Baseball Player Teddy will arrived.

These teddies are real easy to make. The teddy bear is cut as one piece and the facial features added along with the clothing and anything else. I fused them all and then blanket stitched them in place. They were complete in no time.

Last week I added a couple of teddies to these totes. They would make a fun gift for twins, or any baby for that matter.

What other ideas can you think of?

You can purchase all twelve bears as the quilt pattern here. "I Love Teddy".
