Sharing a Student's success
The weather in Maryland has been great for vegetable garden with plenty of rain and mild temperatures, but that didn't stop Gin Keim completing her "Sewfasst" project made in Barbara Dieges online class. With Barbara's quick strip piecing techniques you not only save on time but also on fabric too.
Today I wanted to share Gin's results with you. You can see how Gin enjoy finishing off by adding a hand quilted border.
Gin: "I was in Barbara Dieges' Sewfasst class earlier this year (Feb 28-April 8, 2014). I finished quilting the small quilt project from her class. I hand quilted the leaf pattern around the outer border, outlined stitched around the center star in the background and stitched in the ditch."

This year Barbara updated her Sewfasst class. She added some new tips and an entirely new project with detailed instructions. The result is beautiful.
