More rules for May! You bet, but remember to check out the gallery too.
Another month has started and I'm rather excited about this challenge. Ideas keep popping up in my head. I selected one of the fabrics I posted in the rules last week and went from there.
Time for a new stitch along challenge. I hope you will join me....
It's the last weekend of April which means it is time to finish up April's challenge piece. I worked on mine today. I didn't quite get completed, but I did get all my words complete. Just need to bind it now which I will hopefully get done this week. I already had all my words included last week except for one "hand stitching".
We need some rules for our last week of this challenge, but before I go ahead, remember to take a look at the gallery. It was updated earlier in the week: Stitch Along April Gallery
Another weekend for stitch along has come and gone already. This week's rules were combined with week two, did you miss them? Week Two and Three rules. This week was all about constructing the back of our challenge piece. I kept things pretty simple after using 7 of my 11 words for the front.
This week I chose just some of my fabrics and techniques (as per rules posted for week 2) to start the front of my challenge piece. I chose indigo fabric, turquoise fabric, silver lame, turquoise thread, nylon thread and included some applique shapes and leaves. I've already used seven of the eleven letters/words. Just four to go - olive, green, charms, hand stitching.
This week we are going to be treating the challenge a little differently. Instead of me giving you rules again next week, I'm going to include week 2 and 3 here this week. Are you ready? Here we go:
Today I collected items for my April stitch along challenge. Did you collect yours? I'm really liking how all these things look so good together, even though they are random words/items as such.
Time to start another Stitch Along challenge, I hope you will join me. This week you need to think "Stitch Along". Huh? Yeah really. Think of those words.
