Gallery - May Week 1

I had fun adding additional applique to my stitch along. You can check how I auditioned different border options in my previous post.

Amanda made a round quilt, how cool is that? She says... "This week took a fair bit of thought! I finally went with the circular border, I liked how it worked with the motif and it gave me a chance to use my expensive but seldom used circle cutting stencil!
The border is denim and I washed it to get the frayed edge look - my husband wasn't too impressed, when I was photographing it he asked if I was going to tidy up those
rough edges first.".... Awesome Amanda!
