Creative Twist on Purse
Any excuse to make something for someone is always high on my list of things to do especially when it comes to Christmas and Birthdays, so knowing my granddaughter Amy loves purses, I just had to make her one this Christmas. I used my Candy Sweet Purse Pattern to create a new style design just for her. The original pattern has two applique designs that can be used - or you can use a favorite fabric in the panel inside - but I chose to create my own fabric and add some additional touches.
Modern Look Tote for Quilting
Recently I've been working on my 'new-look' carryall board bag. I made a new front pocket using a different block and some fun modern looking colors.
Simply Sunflowers OR Sunflowers At Dawn

I did manage to copy the post and repost it here on my current blog site. This is the story of how Light Upon the Earth was created.
Thanksgiving
Last week I decided to make the Thanksgiving tablerunner from the Festive Runners pattern. I was trying to decide which set of fabrics to use.
Christmas Banner Downloads
Of course, now we are in October I am thinking of Christmas. The way this year has sped by, Christmas will have come and gone before I can blink an eye so today I figured I'd better get started on some Christmas sewing. Well, I cannot exactly show you what I'm sewing today otherwise someone I'm sewing for will see, but I can show you the Christmas patterns that I converted to downloads today.
Angels or Angles
Christmas is just around the corner and Fall is close for those in the Northern hemisphere so Anita's pattern Angels or Angles is a really good choice for everyone. It is all patchwork triangles that can be made into a scrappy fall quilt...
