Did you gather some baby theme fabric? Do you have some ideas to work with? I hope so.
My October Stitch Along Week 1
I don't know about you, but I love making things for babies or inspired by babies so this challenge is bound to be fun, although I'm starting off a little tough because I don't have a lot of 'baby' inspired fabric to work with. I hunted in my stash and only came up with about four suitable fabrics.
October Stitch Along Week 1

My September Stitch Along Week 2
Those 2½" squares I'd found in my stash were perfect to get started with this challenge. I pulled the darkest out and starting at the top, lay out five columns and worked downward. I figured that once pieced that would make a top of 10" wide and if I went down 6 squares my piece will end up 10" x 12". Seems like a good size.
September Stitch Along Rules Week 2
Are you ready for Part 2 of this challenge? I know I am! I'm really eager to get back into some quilting. Let's get started...
My September Stitch Along Week 1
I'm so excited to get back to my Stitch Alongs and thinking quilting, although I still had a little trouble filling in my full grid, but only on repeated letters so that's not too bad. Here's how my grid looks:
